“Stretch” Edwards brick…..

In October 2013, classmates that met monthly at the VA in Bedford, MA to see Dave “Stretch” Edwards, delivered a copy of a brick to him. The real brick was to be placed at the new US Army Museum in VA in honor of “Stretch”’s service to our country. Only 2 months later “Stretch” passed away.
Dave “Whitey” Anderson visited the museum recently and took a photo of the brick. If you ever plan to visit the museum, be sure to stop and find it and remember our good friend.

Run To Home Base 2020

Please think about participating in the next Run To Home Base at Fenway Park on July 11, 2020. (The event has been moved to sometime this fall). We will have a Norwich ‘65 Team. If you are a runner or a walker, you can choose a 5K or 9K event. If you are neither, you could participate by being on hand at Fenway Park to support the runners and walkers.
This event is focused on supporting our veterans who have struggled with PTSD.

October 14, 2019

Paul McMakin, Whitey Anderson, and Paul Mercer met for lunch today at CBS Sports Bar at Patriot Place. Discussions centered on restarting the informal gatherings like the “Lunch With Stretch” gang used to have. Please contact us if you would like to be included. Thoughts are lunches on the first Tuesday of every even-numbered month. Locations would be determined by the attendees.
